ntl in the UK one of the UK's leading internet service providers has been taken over by the media giant Virgin Media.
The sudden takeover has left many customers shocked and dissapointed because they were not aware of the takeover of NTL in advance, hence they could not have their say!
Although Virgin media has got off to a bad start with services deteriating across the UK, the chances are they will improve upon the services offered by ntl based on the fact that Virgin is a massive company in comparrison to the previous internet service provider ntl. Many customers have chosen to leave Virgin media as a result of being kept in the dark duing the take over plus the drop in bandwidth has become a serious issue with frequent users.
The truth is simple, like any company it will take a little time for them to get everything right, they will obviously wish to brand all the previous ntl equipment with their virgin media logo, this could well include your home ntl modem.
Alternative: Try Sky
Overlooking the obvious short term issues that arise from a company takeover such as Virgin Media taking over ntl as the cable provider in the UK, many people are searching the internet for an alternative to ntl.

To compaire the two companies we had to look at the 4 fundimental reasons why customers should choose any ISP above another.
Virgin have taken over an established business so they should have the powers to reduce the fees to beat Sky hands down. But...
Sky can offer it's services to a far wider audiance because it uses the BT telephone system as the back bone for their services.
Sky have also now STOPPED VIRGIN set-top boxes from receiving some of the more popular stations thus forcing viewers to seek alternatives for their television reception services again preventing Virgin Media from gaining a foot hold into the ISP market.
On reflection we reccomend Sky above Virgin media because they offer a broarder range of services over that of Virgin media and aside from the occasional promotional deal they are cheaper for indervidual services and as a comination.
As you can see from the above Sky is far cheaper and offers a higher bandwidth option compaired to Virgin Media.
We are truly sorry to see the last of NTL but come on Virgin media, if you want to make us happy offer us somthing more than Sky!
